This is an interesting house shot for a local boutique real estate agency here in Canberra. The house surrounds a central courtyard making it nearly heptagonal (seven sided) in shape. With a lick of paint on the inside and a little tidying up here and there, it'd be a lovely home. I love the shape of the building, its interesting and even though the paint doesn't match our tastes, its still inviting and warm.
One of the features I love most is the use of natural sunlit
cavity heating in the windows around the central courtyard. The courtyard would get sun all
winter long and the longer eaves will shade it from the high summer sun. Thats just well
