Creekview Cottage - Beechworth

Some of our family members do a yearly pilgrimage from Canberra to north-east Victoria with a group of friends, visiting local wineries and generally having a good time. On their last visit to the region our photography services were recommended for one of the local holiday homes.

In late May, Lux and Lens went to Victoria to spend a few days in this lovely holiday property. Lux and Lens has been getting more requests for this sort of work and has started specialising in video and photography packages for holiday homes.

Being able to spend a few days on location allows us to get to know a property and showcase it at it’s best. Doing both photos and video in just a few days is a big job but we love it and we try to create a little story as we go.

This is one of our favourite places. Located in Beechworth, it is surrounded by great wine country, beautiful rolling hills with fog drifting between the valleys and fantastic scenery in general. There’s plenty of places to explore and things to keep you entertained, particularly if you visit around the food and wine festivals in the region. With just a few days to finish our project, we left wishing we had much more time to explore and relax by the fire.

Creekview Cottage has rustic charm in spades, a lovely creek out the back and a very short walk in to a great historic town. Our brief was to capture all that, the creek, the chinese gardens and the local attractions. We thank Sue, the owner for letting us stay and work in such a great place!

Canberra Real Estate Photography - Ainslie

This is an interesting house shot for a local boutique real estate agency here in Canberra. The house surrounds a central courtyard making it nearly heptagonal (seven sided) in shape. With a lick of paint on the inside and a little tidying up here and…
