I decided to use a vintage lens this morning. A Nikon 50mm 1.2 from the early 70's. It's an old-school manual only lens and takes a bit of practice to get used to. New cameras don't have split focus prisms, the ones the help you focus through the lens. These days its all auto-focus and makes life a lot easier but less technical.
You need to anticipate your subject with a manual lens. Where it is now and where its going to be.
